Hotel Castello Venice

We recently stayed at a hotel in Venice over Christmas and there were a few things that we really liked. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and were always ready to help with any request. Secondly, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was situated in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions and surrounded by beautiful canals. Lastly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for our stay.

There were a few aspects that we disliked about our experience. the wifi was almost non-existent and despite raising the issue with the staff, it was not resolved.

The waitresses were friendly and the coffee was okay. We had a great location; only about 300m from San Marco Piazza and there were plenty of restaurants and a market nearby. The staff was nice and friendly, and they even helped us with information about the vaporetto to Burano/Murano. The room was clean and despite being small, it had a quaint charm to it. The bathroom was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the city, just a short walk away from St. Mark's Square. It is also conveniently close to all the popular tourist attractions, yet surprisingly quiet. The hotel can be easily accessed by water bus, making it ideal for exploring the city.

There is no elevator available at the hotel, making it challenging for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Convenient location, close to canal, shops, and dining. Early continental breakfast available. Helpful staff with good information. Clean rooms. Enjoyable boat rides to nearby sights.

The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the water bus stop. Plenty of affordable nearby restaurants. Breakfast is reasonably priced, with a good selection. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and surprisingly quiet for being in such a central area.

The value for money at this hotel is fantastic. From the affordable prices to the attention to detail, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location in the center of the attractions was perfect for exploring the city, and the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The rooms, with their Venetian style furniture and modern comforts, were a delightful surprise.

All was great, no improvements needed.

The thin walls, but everything else was spot on.

I had a fantastic stay! The staff were super friendly and always willing to help with any information I needed. The hotel's location was perfect, so close to St. Marco's square and many top tourist attractions. It was also close to the boat stop, making transportation very convenient. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and the facilities provided were top-notch.

Great location, just a short walk from the main attractions and water taxi drop-off. the hotel staff were helpful and the breakfast was reasonable.

The room furnishings were in need of renovation, with peeling paint and dirty stains. There was also a strong smell of damp in the bathroom, and the air conditioning had a musty odor.

The location was perfect, just minutes away from San Marco square. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had a welcomed AC. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. We were just a short walk away from St. Mark's Square and other popular attractions.

Additionally, we found it inconvenient to leave our room key at the front desk every time we left the hotel. There were a few instances where we had to search for the staff to retrieve our key upon returning.

The breakfast, wait staff, bathroom cleanliness, medium level breakfast, staff helpfulness, well-functioning air conditioner.

Everything was fantastic.
